Very nice as usual... only thing that worries me is... that chicky chick's poor little legs might drop through the base :( ziggie

Sharen, don't belittle yourself. I love the innocence and peacefulness of the image. I couldn't do it! I can build (after a fashion), but I sure can't paint! The only thing that worries me, is: can fairies breathe in a vaccuum? I know they can't eat, 'cos in Alien, Sigourney Weaver said, "In Space no-one can eat ice cream!" Well... I think that's what she said. :) ziggie

Happy Halloween gryfnn. All our trick-or-treaters have been and are long gone (23:40 now in UK). Hopefully they are all tucked up in bed. Although I daresay there are a few with sore tummies. It was well worth 2 large bags of fruit and sweets... at least I didn't get eggy windows this year!

Thread: Problem with duplicated obj | Forum: Carrara
Thanx bluetone.... tried that, but no joy. It gets weirder by the minute..! I just tried this: Kept the original right sock in Carrara. Duplicated with symmetry so I had a right and left sock. Grouped both socks and exported in local coordinates into Poser . I end up with 2 socks... hurraay! 2 right socks that is... boooo! Both socks in the same position, one on top of the other.

Thread: Problem with duplicated obj | Forum: Carrara
Thanx again mateo... yes I do the same... but still original obj when imported into Poser. I think the problem is that I am exporting the obj from Carrara with local coordinates switched on. If I save with local coordinates switched off, it works fine, but then I have to go through all the hassle of rescaling and repositioning the object in Poser. I was hoping the obj would import into Poser in its duplicated state, then I would just have to make a single (move it left) adjustment. It would be so much easier if there was a mirror or flip action in Poser, but as far as I am aware there isn't one.

Agreed mateo... there's no problem there... the problem is when I open a duplicated object in Poser, it reverts to it's original (before duplication) form. :(
