Thread: Two problems with purchases | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Quote - Okay the first problem is due to accidentally hitting the "submit order" button twice while it's trying to process the order. I've removed the "empty" order from your account.
Â
The second issue is because your payment from paypal didn't come through until about 1 minute after midnight since your order was placed at like 23:59 and 32 seconds, by the time you went to paypal and the paypal transaction was done and it was 1 minute after minute and the render rewards goes by PAID orders at 12:00 exactly but I will talk with the programmers tomorrow after the office opens back up since today is a holiday and see what I can do to get this added and your render rewards right for August since it was right there on the edge of time. IT was just all bad timing the time the order was placed then the paypal transaction happening afterwards.
Â
I'll make sure to somehow get this fixed to compensate you for render rewards that would've counted toward for August purchases.
Â
Thanks
Â
Thanks for looking into it... any luck so far?Â

Quote - I'm not part of Rosity, so I can't help. But I am curious, does your September rewards spending actually show an amount (You seem to indicate that it does)?
I regularly encounter a problem with the way Renderosity shows how far away you are from rewards; As far as I am concerned their number can be incorrect and is unreliable because they don't take into account the sale prices and coupons until after you check out.
I have been snookered because the amount they show has said I have enough to meet rewards when it's really not.
IMHO they should show you where you stand BEFORE checkout and not their presumed (and maybe accurate or maybe not accurate) amount after checkout.
Yeah, it said I have $3.75 Â in september and am $96.25 away from rewards. Â I needed like $2.10 in august to qualify.
Thread: Clarification for Miss Renderosity? | Forum: Contest Announcements

I was in such a rush to get it submitted that I missed a rule... and put my signature on the picture and got disqualified...Â
Thread: Clarification for Miss Renderosity? | Forum: Contest Announcements
Quote - apparently July 18 end of contest unlike July 18 end of sale means closing earlier in the day.
Having corralled some time to work on an entry,
not pleased to be told on July 18 --- you don't have permission to access the entry page...ÂRound 1 ::Â Swimsuit CompetitionEntry Period:Â June 30th - July 18th.
Community Voting:Â July 19th - July 28th.
Submissions can include 2D or 3D.
Winners from Round 1 will be announced on July 29th and will advance to Round 2.Things may be different back East, but in Oregon it's still July 18thÂ
Â
On the contest page for it, it said submissions had to be posted by 10am CET on the 18th. Â I submitted mine with like 12 minutes to spare, but I have no idea if it was accepted or not since the page is missing now...
Thread: Nvidia Geforce 320.18 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There are serious issues with the 320.18 drivers, a lot of people are reporting that the drivers are causing real damage to their cards, frying them. Â There was a lot of attention given to it early this month, a quick search will lead you to a lot of the articles about it. Â Defnitely stick with the 314.22 drivers for now.
Thread: Gallery uploads and production credits | Forum: Community Center
I installed Opera 9.0 and checked the gallery upload, the list is still out of order, and it looks like it's the same "random" order that I mentioned before, starting with Ghost and ending with Delgine. The other version I was using was 8.54 or something, a pretty recent copy.
Thread: About ******* (censored) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You'll probably never find a texture for v3 or any other unimesh female with accurate genitals. If you look at the unimesh template you'll see that the anatomically correct spot to paint genitals is cut into three parts and split up. 1/4th of it is on the left buttock, 1/4th on the right buttock, and the upper 1/2 is in the middle. Then like gwhicks said, it's also an area where the mesh is stretched when moving the legs even a tiny bit, and even if the pose is zeroed, there is texture stretching and warping in that area. A genital prop like arduino's is as good as you're gonna get with a unimesh figure.
Thread: How do I apply a V3 MAT to a Aiko body? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I personally just open the V3 MAT file in a text editor, make three copies of SkinTorso (only because that's usually the first one in the list) and rename them to SkinThigh, SkinShin, and SkinKnee. Then I save the MAT file again. The new MAT will still work for victoria 3 but it will also work for all the other unimesh figures too. You don't need to make a seperate MAT for all those characters, in fact in my MAT pose directory I just have them all grouped under one folder called Unimesh.
Thread: Marketplace search useless | Forum: Community Center
The search engine also depends heavily on what the merchant set as their keywords when submitting the product
Thread: Marketplace search useless | Forum: Community Center
Yeah, that could be improved... but good news, it probably will. They are working on a site upgrade here but it'll be closer to the end of the year when anything happens. I don't think I can go into any details though, but lots of stuff should be improved.
Thread: Marketplace search useless | Forum: Community Center
The problem isn't with the search engine, the problem is that too many merchants here deliberately miscatagorize their products to get more exposure. If you look at the victoria 1/2 section you will see that it is saturated with products for victoria 3. Same if you look at the stephanie catagory, it is full of stephanie 3 goods. For example, looking right now at page 1 of catagory "Poser : Victoria : Clothing", display 18 thumbnails, there is not even one single product for victoria 2. All eightteen products are for victoria 3. Now looking at the catagory " Poser : Victoria : Character Sets", out of 18 products only ONE of them is for victoria 1/2. It comes down to a lot of false advertising on the part of the merchants, and a big source of frustration for the consumer. I've been lucky a couple times that I review my cart more than once before I check out, because I've come close to buying a product that I couldn't use at all. Personally, this really pisses me off. It wastes my time when I'm looking for something for one figure and the entire catagory I'm looking through is for something else. This would be like going to a computer software store, going to the section for macintosh applications and finding nothing but windows games. Renderosity really needs to start making an effort to get the merchants to catagorize their products properly, either by making the checking of catagories part of the product testing process and at least issuing a warning to the merchants who continuously mislead their customers.

Typical, everyday, clothing. t-shirts, button up shirts, pants, shorts... just normal clothing. I've got some of your other dynamic clothing, ocliff, it is all very good.
