Try using Gaussian blur in your paint program, changing the value at the right increments. I use this method in use with the clone tool from a copied image onto the original.
Thread: Skintexture rendersettings | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Do you mean the texture looks slightly blurry or not crisp enough? If so, you'd be better turning off texture filtering or setting a lower min shading rate on your figure & render settings.
Sorry if this is not what you mean.

Yeah, having to get up to turn the TV over, I remember that one. When I was a kid we only had three channels, BBC1, BBC2 & ITV.
Crikey, flick through the cable channels now & there's like hundreds! Still nothing of interest on though!
Thread: Will upgrade to XP 64 bit and 8 gigs of RAM help Vue much? | Forum: Vue
I wish I had the money to upgrade. I guess I'll have to make do with XP32 & 1GB RAM.
Such is life.
I guess I can blame my lack of artistic progression on my system!

Thread: Big Rendering ? | Forum: Vue
Even though I don't have overly complex scenes, I'm amazed I can even work with 1GB.
The next time I have spare cash I really need to invest in more RAM.

drifterlee - I wish I had 4GB to play around with. That must have been some scene overload to cause that freeze.
Mind you, I guess people's PC setups vary so much that the same scene on someone else's system wouldn't cause a problem.
Thread: watching poser render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've got a Vue render going now. I don't have blocks, about every 1% a new line of the render appears. I daren't watch it though, this is a multi hour render so I'd have eye strain at the end of it!
It is fasinating though to watch one's render appear stage by stage, like the pieces of a jigsaw being put together.
I bet doing a jigsaw is quicker though.

melikia - If you haven't done one yet you must get round to it, it seems no one is a proper artist until you've created one, lol!
Over the years this must have been the most popular render amongst Poser users.

Thread: crash crash crash | Forum: Vue
I think melikia summed it up perfectly!
Purging just releases back to you free memory which Vue had been using.
I only have 1GB so I have to purge often. Large texture maps after a Poser import are the main culprits. I keep purging after every main change to my scene. Thankfully I don't get many crashes, touch wood.
Yeah, got to save often as well, just in case.
