Place a Ball in the Scene where you want the Camera to rotate around. Have the Camera Point at the Ball. Make the Ball invisible and the Camera will Rotate around that point.
I had tried this before and gave up too soon. This time I got the exact camera move that I need. Thanks! I haven't tried it, but it seems like you could also animate the ball to get some complex camera moves.
Yes, you can animate the Ball and the Camera will always point at it. Combining Camera Animation and animation of the item is is pointing at and the options become infinite.

Use Point At and a Dolly Camera or the Aux Camera
Make the Camera the current Actor,
In the Object Menu, select Point At
Select the desired figure.
Now, no matter where you move the Camera or the Figure, it will stay pointed at.
Try using Point At on a Body Part, like a finger to allow some variation in the camera

I recommend archiving all digital purchases and storing on Secure Media in a secure location. I have my content installers backed up to my NAS as well as a Back Up Drive. I also use a Back Up System that I lock the cartridges in a fireproof/waterproof safe....
I also have my actual Runtimes backed up to the NAS and Back Up Drive. I learned that lesson years ago. Windows 3.11 hard drive fail... Redundancy. I will never have to deal with that again.

Thread: Does the 11.2 update work for Poser 11 Pro? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The versions are
Poser 1 - 4 Poser Pro Pack for Poser 4 Poser 5 - 6 Poser 7/Poser Pro Base/Poser Pro/Poser Figure Artist Poser 8/Poser Pro 2010/Poser Debut Poser 9/Poser Pro 2012 Poser 10/Poser Pro 2014/Poser Pro 2014 Game Dev/Poser Debut Update Poser 11/Poser Pro 11 Poser 11.2 which contains all the Poser Application features previously limited to Poser Pro 11 (Export, GPU Rendering, Fitting Room, etc...)
So, if you have Poser Pro 11, Poser 11, or Poser Pro 2014 Game Dev, you want the Poser 11.2 and it is free
There are attractive Upgrade Offers for Poser Debut, Poser 6 - 10, and Poser Pro 2010 - Poser Pro 2014 (Only Poser Pro 2010 - Poser Pro 2012 are listed, but I checked and Poser Pro 2014 (non Game Dev key does work for the Upgrade Purchase. Did not have a Poser Pro or Poser Pro Base key to check if they also work.

Thread: install wont accept seriel number | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical

Hi ratscloset
you did not read my whole post did you? I had turned off my AV and tried installing poser and still got the error. i have no other firewalls does renderosity? if they do they they need to tell me and correct it.I had contacted Smithmicro already they told me that the serial number issued is not valid and i need to contact rendrosity . and rederosity says it is valid I need to contact smithmicro. who is right?
I had tried to get the download manager to work 15 ways to sunday. the error i am I getting imply the license code is no good its clearly states in the first error " no license available for that number" as the error does not say shut off your firewall. even though i had tried that.
This was a gift from renderosity for winning 2nd place in one of their contest. and this license never worked right from day one. I was told to contact, carolyn@renderosity.com which I did once and never got a reply I don't chase down people that I was told to contact and i have and never heard back from. . sorry I'm not PC that way . that just frustrates the crap out of me
But in making this post i would have though at least other user would have had this error message and would have a fix which is giving me the feeling that my hunch is right and this license is no good.
I have tried your salutations many times before . . time for something that works.
It is not AV or Firewall specific (that is why it is unique to Managed Firewalls) It is specifically permissions. This can be a setting for your Firewall, but more likely Security, Privacy Software. The error indicates the proper data was not transmitted. It has nothing to do with Activation, so other than to make sure it is a valid key, the key is not a factor. Again, this message is from Download Manager on your local system. It is not getting the proper data. In all previous cases, it has been due to permissions.
Some users not behind a managed firewall have resolved the issue by creating a new User Account on their system with Admin Rights called Test. This can bypass the impacting permissions, but may not if the permissions are System level and not User Level.
That is why I recommended you contact Support directly so they can get the specific details needed to assist you.

That error is due to Permissions... If you are at work or behind a managed firewall, you can encounter that error.
You will need to contact the IT Staff managing the firewall.
If it is not a managed Firewall, contact support at
support.smithmicro.com
They will need some details you do not want in the forums.

If you need some one on one help with these issues, you can always contact Support for Poser. I know this guy there that will try and help sort out what the issue may be and give you some ideas where to look.
With regards to Rendering... If it seems to hang, look at what is Rendering. That can give a big clue (if hangs Precalculating, you may have two many bounces for some specific item in your scene. Using the Script, to turn down Reflection Bounces and keep IDL bounces the same, may allow it to get over that hurdle.
(I have a Car at night under a street light with a Wet Look Material for the road and car paint Scene that can get hung like that)

If I had to guess, I would bet it is due to OS permissions...
If the content is in the Application Folder (a no no for Windows Vista and later) I bet if you go and look in the folder, it is not there. It is really in the virtual store.
This is one reason why Poser optimal Content location is the Public Documents.
Also where you save your scene can be a factor...Public or Username Documents is best.
With that said, all is not lost if the content was installed to the Application folder (Program Files).
When you get the Scene right and saved, before closing, run the Collected Scene Inventory Script, using the Folder option and save to a Folder in the Public Documents. If you have errors, there is a permission issue with Poser even accessing the content.
See if that opens correctly the next time loading from the Collected Scene Inventory folder location.
For the poke through, even using incompatible morphs as someone suggested, use the Morph Tools in Poser to pull the clothing or if feasible, make the body part invisible.

Thread: A few rookie questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have to pipe in on this one...
Unless you fully understand permissions and shared settings for Windows Vista and later (especially Windows 7 and Windows 8.x) I recommend you install the Content to the Optimal location, the Public Documents.
I have a folder called Poser Content (Poser 10 Content, Poser Pro 2014 Content, etc.. depending on version), in that is the Default Poser Content and the Downloads Folder.
I have since started adding all my Custom Libraries to the Poser Content Folder and linking that to Poser using the Add Library.
All you need in the folder for a new Library location, when created, is a Runtime Folder, then when you add it to the Library using the Add Library option in Poser's Library, Poser fills in the rest and you can use the Intall from ZIP Archive on the Content Tab, or with Windows, you can often extract directly to the Parent Folder (Poser Content for the Main Library , Downloads, or any added Library Folder
The advantage to this is all your Custom Content can be in separate Libaries, easy to archive and Move to a new system when needed.
I will admit, all my Aftermarket Content on a Network Drive along with my one Default Poser Content for all versions of Poser, but that keeps me from having to have it installed on every machine in my Lab to have access to the content, just need to link to the Library location. I have one Poser Content (actual name) that is the shared Main Library for every version of Poser since Poser 7, so no duplicates.. yeah some content is not usable by the older versions, but I only keep them around for testing purposes.
Setting up the Sharing and with the way Microsoft has tweaked Security has caused some headaches with the location, but I do have a Default Install Test System that I test content installations on to the Downloads Library and a few others and that set up has never ecountered an issue.
