To be honest, i think its going downhill right now, and for every news report coming from Daz, the more certain i get that Bryce is going to end up less and less Bryce, but more and more Daz Studio. 9 out of 10 questions in their Bryce forums, revolves around Poser characters for crying out loud. Focusing on character import with 5.5 was acceptable, but enough already. Now its time to put characters aside and focus on Bryce itself. Enhanced render options, soft shadows, GI, increasing the quality on trees, skies and terrains etc, etc should be the main focus point now. Unfortunatly right now it feels like Bryce: The Program, was more alive when the development was dead.

Unfortunatly the house is not my design, only the modified windows and moving/altering some of the walls and the interior.(see attached original and link) If i could design(and afford)a house from scratch, it would be larger, more open and have a second floor partially opened between floors. We actually checked out something close to that at first, where the living room had almost 5 meters to the ceiling. A mucho nicer house, but it also costed 400000 sek more. This one cost enough already with 2.5 mil sek. :) Dann, Hopefully sometime next summer. Ill fire up the BBQ. :)Rudolf Herczog

Of course some additional modifications will be necessary. I still need to make room for the tachyon-based subspace array, to "phone home", as well as some steel beams with wires in the living room/kitchen area and reinforce the roof. It needs to be able to hold the weight of the landing platform in case the relatives decide to pay a visit. A couple of extra wardrobes for the tentacle warmers and... Arrgh, all these choices... :)

Yeah, those windows are extras and not part of the original drawings, but pretty much a must have. :) Combined with the high ceiling they make wonders with the overall atmosphere. The floor is all oak, apart from clinkers in the bathrooms, washing area and a piece at the entrance. Figured it was the best choice.

First try uninstalling Greenworks and AOL just to see if B5.5 works. If that doesnt work, also try a system restore to a point where everything should work. Not Windows best feature, but still worth a try. :)

Nasty stuff! The first part with the renamed files sounds like another virus ive heard of. It would rename all image files, mp3s etc and move everything to the C drive. Luckily, that virusmaker had at least some conscience, and the virus also left a textfile, descibing what changes it had made. Ive always used IE and never had any problems with it. One single virus during all these years. The best protections will always be a good, fresh antivirus, a firewall and most of all, cautiousness.

And naturally we have a massive impenetrable cloud cover here right as we speak. The light earlier today was kinda strange looking though.

Any special reason for naming the craft RH-1? ;) A great way of texturing a model, and still keep full control of the layers. The thing never looked better. :)
