Adding to Anthony's comments, the only Viewpoint VET Exporter that supports bending is in the Pro Pack. to CharlieBrown, VET "is" the Metastream technology. Metastream changed its name to Viewpoint after it purchased Viewpoint Data Labs last summer. Steve Cooper Curious Labs

Robs, I've been exporting VET a lot and have seen some issues with some geometry export, but you have a unique find. I'll forward off the url to your example to Larry. Can you grab a screen shot of how you are setting your export choices and email it to me? We'll want to get to the bottom of this one. Norbert, great rendering. Jim, Being a former CAT II USCF rider in the 70s-80s, I look forward to seeing your road bike completed, and it looks brazed with lugs, (cinelli perhaps?) not tig. very cool. Jeff, I think that Engineering, QA and Tech, as well as our Docs guy Anthony will be posting. I've forwarded off four urls of threads from all the forums so far with PP issues and asked them to take a look and input as needed. I'd prefer to keep general PP posts in the Poser area and split out the advanced PoserPython group like you've done. Once more folks start using some of the other Pro Pack features, specific subforums may make some sense, ie a Flash group or Avatar creators and so on. Bottomline, the online communities are a great source of unbiased feedback and I want to get everyone on our end involved directly. I just want to know where to send them. Mike, We tested Pro Pack's Lightwave plug-in with a variety of non standard models and textures, including a number of high resolution Victoria and Micheal models/textures that were far larger than the standard Poser 4 textures. These worked great in Lightwave. For clarity, animated figures in Poser scenes are also animated when they are brought into Lightwave. This is identical to how the Pro Pack - 3DS Max plug-in works. Pro Pack's Lightwave plug-in supports fully animated, morph targeted Poser figures and props, with all textures, at whatever size, inside Lightwave. This is the identical situation in Max as well. We were not able to exhibit at MacWorld, but several of us were in attendance. We're up to our ears in closing details related to the Pro Pack, and any show booth level participation would have derailed those efforts. We met with Maxon, ProActive-the US Vue d'Espirt publishers, eovia-Carrara's new parents, Alias/Wavefront, Corel, Discreet and a number of our distributors and development partners.
