Renderosity has permission to use my artwork, literary work, and anything else they'd like (heck, I'd throw in the models if I could figure out how texturing works..;) for all works, foreign and domestic, valid even in New Jersey, for both promotional and commercial work. Does that Mean Bryce and Poser are both version 4? I think we just need a little more info. I have Poser 4, but Bryce 5, so I'm not sure what Bryce 4 will do vis a vis 5. I know that 5 can do .obj, .dxf, and .3ds imports, with .obj being the easiest for both programs. You might want to see how much memory you have in the computer, or what you have running in the background (both programs can demand a lot of a PC). Can you get us the message you're getting? I'm sure more folks will follow this post with more help, but this is just to help us help you. thanks.

I've also done .dxf. Somewhere in the manual is a listing of all the formats that can be imported..appendix? I'd have to go into the garage and dig down to the Pre-Cambrian layer to find it..;)

someone who has more knowledge correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember wing guns on this bomber (of course, I couldn't say if it was a B25,26..definitely not a 29..;) The 25, if I remember correctly, had several .50 machine guns in the nose, the other one had a nose mounted machine gun, with a guy in front of the pilot and copilot (there was a tank-busting version that had a 75mm cannon between the pilot and copilot, and you had to do some fancy footwork to dodge the recoil..;)

Bryce gives you more choices when importing Poser. If you have the Poser Pro Pack (for those of us still stuck in Version 4..;), you can export as an object, or find a program called Grouper (thanks to all those who pointed my nose in that direction..;), and then import the object into Bryce. You can even texture with Bryce Mats, which isn't that hard.
If you want to make objects out of 'primitives', go to the Modelling forum here and try Wings 3d, or Anim8tor, or any of the other programs listed there (I've only tried the first 2). Or go to the Wings 3d forum. Once you get the basics down, you can create 3d models to put in Bryce, Poser, or whatever you want. Good luck

I'll eat your spam..I love it..
-Same routine, tho it's a short one..;) ah..actually I ate 'Treet' which is a knock-off of Spam, with Velveeta shells and cheese (on the side)..but had to give it up when my arteries hardened into a gelatinous block..;) It's a chunk..of crumbly meat..smothered in a sort of greasy..gelatin. Has to be cooked..;)
