My question is this:Â If I have Poser 12 (which I do) can I use ANY of the hats that are available regardless of which year's software they were made for?

Thank you go both of you guys. I appreciate the guidance. Rhia I followed yours to a "T" and it worked. My Library trees now look correct.
Blackbonner - yours looks intriguing but I'm not sure that the advantages or disadvantages are of doing it your way? When you say to start Poser and refresh the library, how do yo do that?
And, finally, for people with more than one computer, what is the best way to share the content? Can you keep it in a folder in Dropbox and use Dropbox to share that folder with your computers? I have 2 in the United States and one in Greece.

Oh, hi Rhia. That's really helpful! But if you aren't looking for new products but looking for a piece of clothing like a tuxedo, say, or a wedding dress and don't care how old it is, what would you choose? :)

Oh, wow. Okay I've uninstalled P12 and restarted my computer. When you say "delete all your content including all related folders" was that accomplished by uninstalling P12 or is that a separate task that still needs to be done? -- And if so, how do I do it?

I'll try it, hborre, and see how it goes. Unfortunately getting in to the "guts" of the computer is not my thing but I'll try it:) Thank you.

How do I do it, Rhia? How do I link the new version of Poser the runtime from the previous version? Thank you.

That's interesting about M4. I did not know it's a DAZ product. So using the filters on the Renderosity website, if I want to find medieval looking clothing -- like monks might wear (with a robe and a hood) and I want the clothing to work with one of the figures I have in Poser like Dusk or any of the legacy male figures that come with Poser like Ryan, how do I do that on your website? That's what I'm asking:)

Help! I'm still struggling with shopping on Renderosity. Following RedPhantom's instructions above (thank you) is helpful, but I'm still a little lost... Let's say I want to create a male figure that looks like a midieval monk. A man with a long robe and a hood. How would I go about doing it?
I tried going to Marketplace/ Deparments/ but wasn't sure whether to choose 3d Models or 3d Figure Assets. I worked with Poser 11.2 and would rather stick to Conforming clothing - not dynamic.
Also, if I find some clothing that works with a specific figure that I don't have (like Michael 4) how do I find the Michael 4 figure to buy and download? How do I set the filters to find him? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you, @HartyBart. That's very helpful. I see the puffiness in the jacket. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thank you @Boni, that's perfect. Is there a female equivalent for that. A woman with a pant suit?
Thread: What figures are best for Poser 11? | Forum: New Poser Users Help
I am set designer and use Poser to generate 3d models (in obj) for use on my sets. I don't do animation, so I just need the figure to assume one pose -- but the clothes and hair are important.

Thank you, guys. I really appreciate it. As you can imagine, it is a little bewildering out there:)
