I've found that large files will begin the tonemapping phase of the render with a sustained black screen, sometimes for as long as 4 minutes with especially large files. If your still "in the black" for longer than that, I'd agree with trying what AlanaDale has suggested.

Renderotica.com It's not free ($8.85) and requires a free registration at the site. There are a good number of morphs and 8 mats for the item, including a black ski mask knit.Thread: Tempesta3D Male Character Search | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Thread: Available now: Updated SR2 for Poser 9 / Poser Pro 2012 and SR2 PoserFusion 2012 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This update is being ID'ed as SR2.1
Good one, BTW. It fixes the Library's "Search" function, broken by SR2.

Thread: Lucas - original male figure project for PP2012 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There's been a prominent issue with all male figures after M2 that's been pretty much ignored. If you raise any Unimesh figure's arms straight up (perpendicular to the floor) as would a football ref confirming a goal, the figure's lats, shoulders and chest become a taffy-like mess. Not even DAZ has been able or willing to correct this problem. M2 however, has shoulder, chest and lat morph-fixes that adjust those issues well. If you could address that problem, it would be a milestone;)

Thread: Saving Renders. Yes... I am this stupid. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Why doesn't Poser Pro simply say "Save" or "Save As" like Photoshop for example.
It does under the "File" menu. But that's for saving the file not the rendered image.
Quote - But "Export" to what?
To anywhere you choose. The "Export" option dropdown menu, also under the "File" menu, gives you the choice to export the image in a variety of formats (png, tiff, etc). Navigate to your desktop, for example and save it there, or to a folder of your choice. You decide.

Just great. My favorite moment is when the craft's wing lightly touches the water's surface and we see the resulting concentric circular waves.

Prob'ly everyone already knows that this "update" is not only incompatible with Mac OS 10.7 (Lion), but the Pictures Lab is still broken (loading textures as blue picts) despite being told for months that the bug had been fixed for this next update. Uh...No.
Thread: Poser Pro 2012 on iMac and.. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Not to side track the thread. I am curious about one aspect of Lion. The ability to save as, has been removed in a lot of apps. I do that a lot. How you getting around that. It's one of the things that is keeping me from upgrading and the fact I am waiting for the new MacPros that are rumored to be coming in Q4
Great question. I've used the "save as" option a lot myself, especially in Poser. I'm glad to report that you can still "save" and "save as" in P9 and P Pro 2012 running Lion, which obviously means Lion will not automatically save Poser files for you. As always you'll need to remember to do so yourself.
