This. I haven't used an NVidia GPU in years. And Poser should be caught up with open source cycles branches.

It's a trap. Units are pretty much what you say they are. Props and figures over the years have all used different standards, and scaling is all over the map.
My technique relies on Bob. Bob is a M4. I take Bob, morph him around to resemble a reasonable human being, and then declare: "Bob is six feet tall. Everybody's height and scaling revolves around Bob. This includes props as well as characters. There are none more 72 inches than Bob." Bob gets stashed in a library.
So whenever I need to scale stuff I'll swing Bob in and use the Mk I eyeball. OK, OK, I might cheat a little and use some sizing apparatus thing, but it's all based on Bob.
Remember the Golden Rule of Poser Scaling: if it looks good, it is good.

I'm grabbing her from your Gumroad, Darkseal. If there's any updates when you do a "full" rollout, let me know!

"What makes a good figure"
One you find functional and enjoyable to use. Everything else is nonsense.
Thread: PRO 11.I CHARACTERS APPEAR WITHOUT EYE PUPILS, PLEASE HOW DO I FIX THIS? | Forum: New Poser Users Help
This occurs for me as well. It's a Poser thing.
It depends on the materials used for the eyes. More complex materials show up as white in the preview.
They will render OK.

I wanted to write something snarky here, but I suddenly realized that there's just no satisfying some people, no matter what I'd say. My mind just doesn't bend that way.
So: Ero, thanks for your hard work. Thanks for releasing a full figure that utilizes all of your experience in Poser. Thanks for releasing it for a measly $30. Thanks for getting some vendor content creators excited again about a Poser figure.
Signed,
A "Crony"

Uncle Ero is god. Every penny I've spent on his stuff has been worth it a hundred-fold. PE looks to be no exception. I expect my "other" Poser work will be postponed for a long while I come to grips with PE.

Wow, way to slap down tonyvitters' constructive criticism, people.
I, for one, am sure that if I released a figure that might cause Poser to choke later down the line, and someone gently pointed this stuff out to me, I sure wouldn't show them the back of my hand.
Wow.
Thread: Which Laptops on the cheap side work best with Poser Pro 11 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The key word here is "cheap", folks.
I went for a Lenovo ideapad 300 17.2 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-300-17isk-17-3-laptop-intel-core-i3-4gb-memory-500gb-hard-drive-black/5450868.p?id=bb5450868&skuId=5450868) for $379.
The i3 processor isn't perfect, but it's still pretty snappy and provides 4 threads (2 core+2 hyperthread). And the 17.2" screen provides plenty of real estate. The big downsides are the RAM (4GB not nearly enough, but another 4GB stick will only cost you $18 at NewEgg) and the HD (I cannot stand conventional HDs, so I tossed in a 460GB SSD.)
It's a very "old school" notebook in that you get the bare necessities of ports and options, and it's not a touchscreen (a big plus for me).
Whatever you do, stay away from the AMD APU in a laptop -- I speak from hard experience here. While the AMD's much better integrated GPU is better for games, the AMD's CPU performance specs are far below that of Intel's, and the AMD A10 APU I used previously just choked on Poser.
Thread: Images not tiling in Cycles Mapping Node | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Why are you avoiding the legacy Image_Map node? If it is because you think it doesn't work in SuperFly, here's news: it works fine in SuperFly.
So... does that legacy node replace the trio of TC/mapping/ImageTexture?

(Scratches head again)
Why are you using Vector Mapping instead of Texture (decrease scale value should tile) or Point (increase scale value should tile)? I mean, if it works, it works, but it's just odd that this Vector mapping isn't mentioned ANYWHERE. Did you stumble across this solution? Or is it documented?
Anyway, let me run off and check if this works in a quick test. Thank you for your answer.
