Claymor, Thanx man, youve just saved my day!!! :) So thats where those little buggers put it. Never heard of that IP before, but ill send this to my domain host now. If they dont fix it really soon, ill strangle them with my tentacles. Thanx a lot guys.

At least most of you seem to be able to access the page, which is slightly reassuring. (:)

Thanx a lot for the help guys. The darklit city sound like a backup from an earlier update, but the wip icons are normal. This is really screwed up. I cant figure out why it works for some viewers, while others get errors. I even tried accessing the domain with its IP 66.78.12.69, but then i get to another totally unfamiliar page. Arrghh

Thread: Rar: what is that ? | Forum: Bryce
And if its files that are split into segments, they can have names such as: Blahblaha.RAR, Blahblaha.R00, Blahblaha.R01, etc, with the last file ALWAYS smaller than the rest. Just right-click on the .RAR file, and it will extract the rest as well.

You probabaly understood him right, and frankly i can even agree in some points, especially the one about Bryces current development. :) However, i still say that these drag ndrop programs are a damnation to every artist community, even if its aimed towards beginners/hobbyists. Now we probably have a flood of 5000 almost identical images to look forward too. Having seen plenty of Adams work, i know for a fact that the man can light up a scene in Bryce far better then any GI or HDRI-based lighting can achieve in Vue. And thats by skill. Plus, if he need stuff for advertising/printing purposes, a max of 5 megapixels is far from enough.

That little gem with predefined sets and one click solutions looks like the perfect solution for a quick fix. If thats what people want. Unfortunatly programs like that doesnt exactly help the learning process, nor give people any proper(and often necessary)skills to manually set up lighting and atmosphere. By using its "One-click Mountains" and "One-click Vegetation" etc, how much of the final image, or animation, can you actually call your own creation...? Just curious...and slightly worried, for the future of artistry. ;)

Thread: Doorway - Riddick art anyone? | Forum: Bryce
Cool doorway. And it can easily be used as windows/walls as well. :) A guy named Holger Gross designed the necromongers with the help of reference images on european churches. Check out a ton of gothic architecture to boost those grey ones. :)

I can always mount a couple of thrusters on the damn thing if i get bored with the surroundings. Yeah, those are a lot better than the originals. And the best part is that they cost as much as the small arched one. :)

Thread: Worlds of Bryce Exclusive - DAZ Interview on the future of BRYCE | Forum: Bryce
A good start would be to open up the program architecture, allowing third party plugins. That would most likely speed the enhancement up a little. Im very curious about the development of the Maxwell renderer for Bryce, but the question is if its just Next Limits plan, or if this is something theyve discussed with Daz.
