Might be on to a fix thanks to an email from a friend and content creator. I have tried it on the laptop and no longer seem to be having issues with Poser 2010 and 2012 (can't find 2014 on the laptop though I am sure it was installed). Later tonight I will implement the fixes on the Xeon Multi-Core and see if it does indeed fix the issues.

Thread: Legacy Poser External Library and Win 7 64 bit troubles | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It's not a graphics card issue, it's not too little ram, it's not slow HDs. I was running these same programs on Windows XP on a much older machine running less ram, with integrated graphics on slower HDs without these issues.
I am not looking to upgrade the OS or Poser. I am looking for the cause of this issue with these versions of Poser on Windows 7 so I can fix it. Please, if you have not experienced similar and do not know the cause or a solution do not suggest upgrading Windows, or Poser, or using a 3rd party library manager. Showing me links to upgrade windows is not helpful in any way.

Thread: Legacy Poser External Library and Win 7 64 bit troubles | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
All three versions have the last SR patches. It is not because of the runtime being on a network drive as it does it even with no linked runtimes, and it affects buttons and controls of the library manager itself as shown in the screenshot (that is a local runtime on the same hd as poser). As I already said using a replacement library manager is not an option for a lot of reasons.

No, that's for the embedded library, this is trouble with the External library

Thread: How to purchase multiple P11 Keys | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
With Poser 11 being built off of the pre-existing Poser 10/2014 architecture and license manager this is most likely not the case. Trying to run the same license key on multiple machines at the same time if they are locally networked will result in them seeing each other and one of them forcefully shutting itself down with a warning.
It was possible to purchase multiple keys with the previous owner, and Renderosity has alluded in announcements for Poser 11 and up that additional keys are available - so I am inquiring how to purchase them and would really like to hear a response from Renderosity Market Place Staff or the Poser Support staff, thank you.

Thread: Genesis/DS Only Heavy Newsletters | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
I wasn't discussing disparity between products or what sells better, or why there's more content for one than the other - just if a newsletter has only content usable in DS can it be marked as a Daz newsletter as I have opted out of those because I am not a DS user. Just not interested in newsletters full of content I won't use. Since Jenn's response is Renderosity's position and there wont be a change perhaps it is best to just lock this thread so it doesn't turn into something it's not intended to be.

Thread: My Gallery has been gutted | Forum: Community Center
Some of the missing images appear to be showing up again, but there are still a great many missing. I was hoping/planning to focus more on my gallery here given changes at the art site I once used. I don't want to duplicate uploads though.

I do not use Bit Defender, but perhaps someone else might have some advice. Otherwise I would do some searches on reliable tech sites for help customizing it to reduce false positives or site blocks. Tom's hardware used to be a good site for such advice, but it has been years since I last used it.

It is likely a false positive. I have never had any of my downloads from Renderosity scan infected. If you are using default values with installed AV/Security software you will get a lot of false positives and security warnings for numerous activities or sites. A few have even flagged ALL Amazon domains as dangerous or insecure for one reason or another - whether accurate or not.

Thread: "out of memory" warning | Forum: New Poser Users Help
I have not seen this error myself since the days of Poser 4... which OS are you operating on? I recommend frequent saves - I have lost progress to crashes myself, it is very frustrating.

Thread: G2 holding an object | Forum: New Poser Users Help
Save your Holding pose as a partial pose to your library using the Select Subset option in the save menu. Make sure to only have tickboxes selected for the collars, shoulders, forearms, hands, and fingers. Generate a Walk sequence, then after generating the walk, go into keyframe editor and delete all keys for your figure's Shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers - reload the partial holding pose from your library.
There's probably an easier way, but I am tired. Hope this helps.

Many of the upgrade lists were for Poser from Version & through everything before 11.2 were on Smith Micro's sites and are likely not available any longer. Bondware (the company who is behind Renderosity) is now in charge of Poser, having purchased it from Smith Micro this year and releasing 11.2 as the first version under their control. I am unsure if or where a full list of changes for the new version is, but I agree it is something nice to have.

Thread: Some questions about the Poser 11.2 upgrade | Forum: New Poser Users Help
@feedesneige The reason you can not change the window size through menus anymore is because of how the docked windows work in Poser. The only way I know is to use the drag tools on the sides of any of the windows/work panes and resize them by hand. Alternatively, you could make the window floating and then resize it through that window, but the minute you re-dock it the program will resize it again to some arbitrary size (something I always hated about the newer interface)

Thread: Anyone here watching - or has watched - Dark? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have seen it through the end of Season 2. It's...different. It was just strange enough to keep me interested but honestly it did take a very long time to build up. I did like that device you speak of, thought it look really nice. I also liked that Globe handlight Jonas uses a lot, haven't seen anything like that around where I live.

Thread: How did I go so long without finding this feature of Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I once had similar issues using Queue Manager (and sometimes still have others) and found that in preferences disabling the tickbox to use external Binary Morphs was the solution. I can only speak for Poser through Version 2014GD however. I have not done anything with Poser 11 yet as I have no machine with the required OS (unless anyone knows how to get it running on XP64 bit).
