Worked fine with AOL on dial-up, surprisingly quick download even for the full-size pics (which are, of course, astonishing!) Plain and simple, just as it should be. Good luck with the site.........Dennis

If used correctly and in the right context this 'predilictation' of Bryce can be spectacularly exposed, I suggest this picture as one of the finest examples of a wide angle view produced in Bryce. Simply stunning.Thread: Landscape or Seascape?? | Forum: Bryce
Thanks for your views, Ricky and I understand where your at but....... Incidently did they disappear for nookie because it got cold or a swim to cool off?? Cheers..........Dennis

I too like the composition of this picture but keep worrying about the furniture ! Would the material of the chairs and table so closely match that of the balcony ? And perhaps in so idyllic surroundings a head rest and padded arm rests on the chairs would be welcome. To further enhance the atmosphere maybe the two people have left their drinks and gone for a swim in the bay ?, leaving behind a hat ?, newspapers ? books ? glasses ? radio ? What I'm trying to say is 'What is the story behind the picture', what is the viewer supposed to think of beyond two chairs and a table. Give us something to work on please. Of course, however faint, you should introduce shadows for the furniture, it can't be that dull off Lucy and Candy!! ............Dennis
Thread: Bryce Forum and Gallery header graphics in new rotations | Forum: Bryce
Thanks for the info AS, as for the Forum header rotating 11 new ones and the rest being from Pack 1 with each pack containing 30 graphics is about as clear as mud to me !! Does it mean I just might see my graphic, up since 31/12/03,as the Forum heading ? I'm so excited !!!....Dennis

Thread: January 2004 Challenge Vote Here!!! | Forum: Bryce
WOW, am I glad that's over, this Challenge has certainly stretched my capabilities to the full and unfortunately I had to post a joke in the end as I had wanted to post something !! I now know Bryce will not render a 5000+ object, volumetric water and fancy lighting image, simply the quickest crash I've ever had. I'm sure Phil will join me in saying a big thank you to all of the entrants, I certainly never expected so many entries and of such a high standard and as has been said already judging is extremely difficult. However, based on realism as the main criteria my humble opinion is........ Stephen Ray.......3 Points I just keep going back to this image, so much to see in different textures and ambience. The right side has the appearance of a water colour painting (no pun intended). Marvellous picture, my No.1 by a long way. Chewbacha.........2 Points Never seen anything like it, absolutely stunning image, so simple, so complex, so original, so deserving to win but.... Vile..............1 Point I'm a sucker for killer whales anyway but this image is so realistic it presents beauty on the one hand and the ferocity of the beast on the other. Amazing picture. Many congratulations to my winners and commiserations to my runners-up (but only by a whisker).... Amethyss Creations Johnyf Danamo AgentSmith Peggy Svaelt Thanks to AgentSmith for his dutiful organisation and, again, a big thanks to the membership for supporting this Challenge. Bye now........Dennis

Excellent construction, the only thing I would comment on is would tropical fish be at home in this environment? It looks more of a river scene suitable perhaps for salmon or carp. MHO only. Bye now........Dennis
