Thread: Copy morphs from figure | Forum: DAZ|Studio

If this is a custom morph you need to make sure that you have AutoFollow turned on in the Parameter Settings dialogue - click the gear icon at the right-hand end of the slider. Also, unless it's been fixed in a recent update, custom morphs that are embedded in a scene file (rather than saved as a morph asset) sometimes fail to project properly on reloading the scene
thank you for your help learned something new

Which figure? For the Genesis figures morphs are automatically projected into fitted items if their AutoFollow property is on. For legacy figures, select the figure and right-click>Transfer Active Morphs.
Ok I should have been more detailed, I morphed gen3 head and morphed a custom, to the shape of V3 head, Now I want to add A hair fig to g3 and adapt to the new shape I made, I know I can export the hair and adjust and make a morph for it, I was just wondering If I can do in daz auto Like in poser "copy morphs from fig " thanks for reply

I use poser cloth room a lot but sometimes, the results are sloppy like intersection, it's good but trying to see if blender can do better it does not have the above mentioned "designate certain vertices as rigid, decorated, or even completely not drapeable" I think I have a solution, for blender, will post results if any one is interested.
here's my work around, start with a single mesh, say a long sleeved T-shirt for example, next detach the arms form main body. assign+ vertex group to corresponding detached parts (were they attach) run simulation to arms use setting req (silk) when done run body (leather) when finished join parts remove double verts (weld) finished. you can do collars, cuffs ect. theirs wide rang of possibility here. just having fun with blender and poser

This is a long tutorial but the creator goes into extensive detail and does also reply to questions if what your looking for is not answered in the tutorial How To Make 3D Clothes and Outfits In Blender 2.79 I hope this helps
Thanks for respond, link has some good modeling tips I can use later, what I am looking for is cloth room, in poser you have separate dynamic groups, wondering if this was possible in blender. I can do this by chopping off different parts and merging them back, but this reg. mutable animations, was hoping for doing it in one. thanks any way.
Thread: Copy Position only: X,Y,Z | Forum: New Poser Users Help
this is what I do, select body or hip, depending on which one is the xyz, copy it, open notepad or word, paste it, now copy just the xyz and paste it to the fig you want. simple and quick

Iam a basic user. never learned what clamp size is or does. import your obj. hit "s" on keyboard inter 10.or your size, on numeric, do your work when finished go to object mode hit "alt and s" now your obj is back to its org size and export. some one here taught me that hope that helps

Quote - Tab into edit mode select the teeth faces and hit H key this will hide them. Alt+H key to get them back. This will protect them from your sculpting
