Hopefully, if its really released to Bryce, it will be far better to use than it is with Cinema4D. Its awkvard as hell to work with, and they will have to work a LOT with it, for me to think it was money well spent. :) On the other hand, the render part is easy to the extreme(and slow), and you can switch plugin to whatever program youre running. And it really can produce superb quality renders.

World Wind was probably created using .NET Framework, and require the runtime environment to work. Check out this link, and scroll down to the bottom of the page under "Notes", and youll find a link to the download.Rudolf Herczog

Great start. :) Although i would personally move everything somewhat to the left. First of all, you would have more free space for the background city, and second you would get rid of some of that large empty wall on the left.

DAZ should really advertise contest like that here, especially with all the scifi related modeling going on here. I only stumbled on it myself by accident. Yeah, those prices are pretty nice. I even digged out old Poser for the first time in 2 years. :)

Thread: 3ds max not the same as 3ds | Forum: Bryce
I think some people post scene files, because the files are ususally a lot smaller in size than an exported model. For example, i have a cinema file that is 2.6 mb as scene file, and the exported model is 390 megs.

Bandolin, .max are scene files and 3ds is model format. Thats why you cant open them.
