Ya, I hate half naked Vickies too, I prefer fully naked ones. Thanks for the laugh Agiel.

Unbelievable Phillipe - simply wonderful animations. It gives us all hope about the great things that Vue can do. Thanks for sharing
Thread: I don't see any cel-shaded work in the Vue gallery... | Forum: Vue
I've used Agiels Cel-tutorial on several renders. In fact I have tweaked it quite a bit and made it one of the skin shading options for SkinVue by combining it with my procedural skin mat. The outlines often do need a bit of photoshop tweaking however.

Wow! I just went over to the Vue site link and saw that they claim to support the retention of materials after they have been changed in Vue and then re-importing the Poser model. I'm baffled - since this hs never worked for me. I guess I need to do some more testing on this. Perhaps it's a Poser 6 issue.

As an experienced Poser5 and 6 user into Vue 5, Vue does not prompt you or provide any mechanism whatsoever to retain the textures you have created on the figure you are re-importing whether the figure is collapsed or not. This is obviously a huge problem when you have to go back and forth. There are three workarounds to this problem though none are very good. First, change your workflow so that your work out the pose/poitions first before texture. Second, you can reimport a copy of the reposed model into the scene and then copy materials over. Third, you can save all your mats and then reapply them after import. I know, none of these are great solutions. I wish Vue had a utility like "Replace object - keep textures". Oh well.

Silverblade, parametric mapping will definitely not work if you are trying to UV map textures to an object. Use Object Standard Mapping.

Why not just use UV Mapper to map the textures correctly to specific objects or areas on your model?

The easiest way to delete or reset materials is to right click on the material in the upper right material preview window and click "Reset".

I love it. One idea to play with might be to use a palm tree frod to generate some cool shadows on the table. Take a palm tree ford, above the table and out of the camera view and shine a light above it. The starfield mat is way cool.

I love the texture on the table and the postcard image. You may want to place the light at some angle that will show the glass casting a shadow.
