Thread: The rating system.... | Forum: Bryce
This image belongs to a very special school of art, the Conservatoire for the Representation of Astonishing Panendography (C.R.A.P.) I really had to force myself to come away without making a comment because us Brysters don't make rude comments, do we? One thing about this guy, he's just invented the first ground terrain non-detectable by radar, the world disappears!!! Bye now, and don't do this again please bazze, resistance might break down next time........Dennis
Thread: HI THERE | Forum: Bryce
I got there first. Good Grief.......... All power to you Mr.Al-Mohammad. As regards textures of Snooker Balls, you don't actually need to do a lot, they have no numbers to worry about and just a single colour per ball. A lttle reflectivity is desirable so the easiest thing to do is create a bryce sphere, you can here resize the sphere to your required size., Click the 'E' in the panel next to the sphere, this brings you to the Materials editor. Select category Simple and Fast and from the resultant choice select Red Shiny Plastic, Click the Tick and your back in the Bryce window with a Red Snooker Ball. Of course you need fifteen of these, so while you original ball is still selected go to EDIT/Multi-Relicate and put in 15. In the middle box, top line type a 5, all the others should be zeros, the size boxes should all be 100%. Press o.k. and you should now 15 Red balls albeit on top of each other. Select your original Red ball and click the 'E', you can see it's colour in the 'diffuse' spot, to change it click and hold while selecting new colour. You will need a yellow, green, brown, blue, pink, black and a white 'cue' ball. Sorry I'm no good at making chalk!! Bye now........Dennis

No screaming, just wanted to emphasise to our friend it was capitals being spoken off and not captions, which we all know should scream at you all the time! Bye now...Dennis
Thread: HI THERE | Forum: Bryce
Hello Jimi is right typing in CAPITALS is being rude to others, avoid doing so. If your going to do searches in data bases etc., you will need to check you have the right English spelling to start with. I presume you mean 'Snooker', as in 147 breaks etc.,, and 'Snooker Cues', the wooden implement used in the manuacture of those 147 breaks. Go to Bryce Freestuff, look for 'Search' and click. In the new window type in Snooker, tick non-commercial and stand-alone and you should be presented with an image of a snooker table with balls and cues, textures included. This can be downloaded onto your computer for your private use. Bye now.....Dennis

Did you realise he also holds position No.6 on the all time 'most viewed' list (8420 views) with an image cheating its way up the chart by purporting to be of a sexual nature.
He has another three or four images in the 'Hot 100 ' as well.
His average viewing figures for an image is normally between 200 and 300 which must put an awfull strain on his 'supporters' since he has posted nearly 600 pictures in the last eleven months.
Recognised good artists in this Forum do post helpful comments for this chap but if you check out his pics from eleven months ago you'll see absolutely no difference with his output from then to now, in other words he takes not the slightest interest in improvement but continues to churn out these freebie models against a Bryce background pics at a rate of knots. Pretty pictures maybe but certainly not art as we know it Jim.
The attached file is one of Mr.Black's recent efforts and I quite like the sentiment of the first comment "Someone once described suicide as a permanent solution to a temporary problem."
Quite so.

Thread: October Bryce Forum Challenge Winners here! - Tie for 1st place! | Forum: Bryce
Wow, this is great and I'd like to thank everybody who entered a picture, all of which were excellent, everybody who voted in the final count up and I'd like to thank and congratulate Drawbridgep (Phil) for a very close contest. My wife thought Phil would win and so against that sort of family support I'm very pleased to have ended up joint first!!!. A very just and fair result in a good contest. Compliments to kosv01 for an interesting Challenge. Humorix: My image is here; http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=536763&Start=1&Artist=Dennisld&ByArtist=Yes Thanks everybody, not forgetting AgentSmith for getting my image into the Challenge through all the troubled times for 'rosity. Thread: challenge wip? | Forum: Bryce
Hi Wildman2 I know this is WIP but I'm having problems! Even with my monitor turned to maximum brightness and contrast I can't see a thing! I don't know what 'traugs' are so perhaps I'm missing something I should be able to see. Sorry to be so negative. Bye now....Dennis

Would the 200 plus people that view this guys dross every time he posts an image (two a day on average), PLEASE STAND UP. (This doesn't include the stalwart five or six that make a comment and vote for every 'image' come what may) It's not that I am a pessimist.......but? Bye now....Dennis
Thread: OT - Question about ' Trance ' music | Forum: Bryce
Hi everybody, bit late on this thread but here's my twopennyworth anyway! Isn't trance a state of mind induced by magical incantation and isn't incantation a ritual recitation of magical words or sounds, in other words a 'chant'? And isn't chant another term for plainsong and the best known plainsong is Gregorian Chant. And that being the case look no further than the Coro de monjes del Monasterio Benedictino de Santo Domingo de Silos (viz. 'The Monks of Silos') I heartedly recommend Canto Gregoriano, a double CD, EMI Classic 5 65217 2 in Europe and CDMB 65217 in USA, you will find nothing better to Bryce by I assure you. Bye now........Dennis
