Purchase poses from the store, or look for free ones and tinker with them. The best part of Poser is the posing. When you get the pose just right, add it to the Pose folder.
And for sure use the memorize & restore - it will save your butt.

I'm still waiting for Steve's UTC. The V4 textures are to die for and would look great on V3.
Especially now that all the artitsts have kicked V3 to the curb :-{ Too bad, when thousands still have her.

4.03 was for the 1gig memory limit. Which was a very big deal back then.

Years ago I bought a set of pots by Ozzfest. They were perfect!
But when I tried to scale them up they got all wonky on me. I can't explain what happened, but they lost the shape (urn) and got all bumpy. Like it lost it's coordinates.This was in Vue 4.
I think they were .3ds, so that may be why.
I like the look of palm trees in large pots around buildings, pools, patios, etc.
TurboSquid has a lot of pots, but is beyond my budget.
I'll try the primitives in V6 next.

I found pots, but they weren't big enough for a tree... Like palms.
I can use primitives, but it's not the same. This calls for the keen eye.

Hmmmm..... it's hard to teach an old goat new tricks. It's a hobby - pure fun when i'm bored.
I love the posing, and the renderer is clean, clear, and fast . Wish Vue 6 was as crisp as Poser 4.
Poser 5 stinks... Poser 6 is convoluted... P7 is way over my head. I want to play, not to be tied to the manuals (which I read page by page and took notes). Takes all the fun out of it.
The last trick is to get V4 into ProPack...

Poser 4 & Poser ProPack is enough for me. I purchase a lot of Poser objects to use in Vue4, Vue 5, & Vue 6. It's the best of 2 worlds. I don't use the CR2s, just the .obj with textures, so it doesn't matter what version of Poser.
I have P5,P6,P7 - and am thinking about selling them and the associated 'Pretty' books.
What a waste of $...
