Poser makes a RSR file in your geometries folder automaticaly - not in your figures folder. Backup it and then delete it (only RSR not OBJ). Run your character again. Sometimes that works. Note: use white color on your bodyparts Hope that helps Chris

I have the same problem here. Poser do not have a raytracer, thats the problem - so I make my HiRes renderings in Bryce. I think MC will fix the shadow problem in Poser 5 :-)) Chris BTW: Nice work so far - cant wait to see your image when its ready

Thanks for your comments. First of all - This is a Bryce render with only one light. Please dont ask me how I made this exactly, only thing I can say trial and error . I'm think I will make a tutorial how to use textures with lights in Bryce. But give me some time for it cause I'm working on some other projects at the moment. Lobo: This map is made from real photos ( Paul Hafeli told me how to do that). Is a lot of cut and paste work and you only have to make the i.e. left side and mirror it to the right, thats all. The rest is color modification (and thats most of the work). It takes me over a week to get this map like it is. PA: First of all I'm not a professional artist. To get the nose like this is to play around with the facial morphs comes with Poser 4. I cant answer your Eyes question at this time because I dont understand exactly what you mean (translating Problems into german ). I hope you will have a lot of fun with this map and show me some images made with it. Christian

Paul: I think you have to change every part to white color manualy. Then add it to your figure library and you can use it every time you want. If you have a multible figure there(Clothes and hair) you can save it as a PZ3 and then rename the file to ...CR2. That works! Hope that help you a little bit Christian

Thank you all for your comments. I will redo some details of her body because her chest is twisted too much. I think I call this image "Sunset Beta 1" . Ikyoto: yes you are right that Newtons best pics are in B/W. But I only want to make a pic with a Newtons kind of pose (hope I spelled it right - english is not my main lenguage). I tested the pic in B/W and it looks terrible . Allerleirauh: you can d/l her tex at FreeStuff Dr. Zik: cant wait for your interpretation of "Here They Come" Bloodsong: there is a light stright in front of her. Hope to fix the shadow problem soon. Thank you all Chris

Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. Bloodsong,Paul: I know the shadow problem. At sunset all shadows are very long (hope I spelled that right) and the light comes from the back so all models will be black. I've added two fillin lights - one omni from the back to get the shadows from the sun and one spot stright from the front so you can see the girl. The spot has shadows off but it destroyes the shadows from the back light (its in the same position as the sun is with same color) - the front light has a yellow/red color. I'll make some light experimentes and post the new pic here. BTW: how can I post a pic in a reply?? Chris
