Thanks for the replies folks...
**to dlk30341L:
**"Email the vendor and ask if he'll convert it for you."
--> Yes, I did this, but the vendor said the model is only in Vue format. :-(
"Buy V6I, IIRC this the only version that allows for export of non-locked items.:
--> Well, the model I wanted to buy from the vendor is only 5 bucks, so buying a program just for a 5 dollar model isn't really an option. LOL
"There is no available converter for .vob to anything as .vob is proprietary to Vue as is .max to 3ds Max"
--> Yes, but I was hoping that some program out there could convert it. heavy sigh Oh well...
**nruddock:
**
"Only Vue can read VOB files."
--> Again, Heavy Sigh
best regards...

I signed. What haunting, heart-wrentching photos...
At the two local shelters we have here, hands-down, the breeds I see the most are Pitbulls followed by Rottweilers. Folks are afraid of these breeds and I imagine they are the ones that are most frequently euthanized.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT>>>
From UVDan's post: "At first I was afraid, until I saw he was wagging his tail."
--> Just a note to anyone who runs into an unknown loose dog: A wagging tail does not always mean friendliness! If a dog's tail is wagging low and quickly swishing back and forth, the dog is in a happy, playful mood. However, if the dog's tail is high up, above his hips and wagging or intermittently wagging, be very careful. This is a warning wag that says, "I am checking you out and if I don't like you or you make me nervous, I may bite you!"

Thank you for the help tom271, wdupre, and Angel!
Angel - Selecting her hip before saving the pose worked like a charm!
You know, I sure have learned a lot from all this - it's one thing to make characters and poses for my own personal use, but it's a whole different ball game trying to create for others...sooo many lil' details have to be taken into consideration. It's been frustrating to say the least, but at least I know a lot more now than I did a month ago.
Thanks ever so much for all the help! hugz

OK, I'm back - As far as I can tell, as long as I use the IPB to create an INJ/REM file for my morphs, I can freely distribute my character.
I tell ya, this has been one looonnnggg project - the merchants make it look so easy! I definitely have a new respect for merchants and free-stuff creators! I have run into one problem after another and just when I get one thing figured out, something else mess's up! Ug! LOL
Now, I have my character, made a head/body texture for her, made the INJ/REM files, created 5 standing poses. Good so far...
Load V3, apply the morphs with the INJ file, then click the pose I made and want to test and BOOM! She's half-way down in the floor. HUH? UGGGG!
Pull her up, click 'drop to floor' re-save pose. Start all over again and BOOM! Back in the floor! I wanna cry 'bout now, ya know?
sooo...if anyone wants to take a stab at telling me what the heck I am doing wrong and how to get Vicki out of the floor boards, I would love you to pieces for it!
Also, how does one save a face pose like a smile so it can be used by others? Do I save it as an expression? And will V3 drop thru the floor some more?
Best regards...

Thread: Selling Art on Ebay? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Considering that its not stuff I've handpainted by the evening light or anything but "...
Remember - Poser is your canvas. The figures are your brushes. You are creating art - in the 21st century and it is art! :-D
You got my curiosity up and I went on to EBay and searched for digital art prints just to see how many thousands there would be. There was a lot, but I was surprised that there weren't more listed - usually EBay is flooded with tons of products all virtually the same. I did find one Poser specific seller that puts artwork on address labels and such. You can find the store here:
http://stores.ebay.com/Avalon-Art-Prints-Cards-And-Labels_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZQ2d33QQftidZ2QQtZkm
I think it could be a great place to try a few sales of your artwork. Start small and with only a few items and see what happens. I've sold tons of stuff on EBay over the years and it is a fickle market, but the ads really don't cost that much and to me, it's always worth a shot.
Best of luck if you decide to try it! Best regards...

To weezie: Wow - your 2001 render is purdy darned good compared to my low level ability at that time! Looks like something I would have loved to have been able to create back then. I was so proud of my early renders! I'd hit that render button, sit back and be amazed at my 'talent'!
[By the way, the flowers she's holding are really just in front of her - I had very little idea as to how to pose the Poser figures than - especially the legs! I kept wondering why the legs would wig out when I tried to move them! hehehe]
