IMHO, turn the cam a few degrees so that the angle of the pole group is approximately 30° to 45°. This will give a greater perception of depth as the lines of the pole will draw the viewer into the scene, and the background terrain will expand into the horizon.

With the computer in hand, do an over-night memory check right away with MemTest before installing apps.

You could try increasing the smoothing angle on the V4 model to smooth-over the triangle-polygons in the render. Select object. Press ctrl-e. There are other options in the object editor that might work as well.

Thread: I can't open Vue 7 Esprit | Forum: Vue
Something like this happened to me when I first got V7i. Sometimes I couldn't start the program, other times, it would crash without cause or event. After, I installed the latest video card driver, the problem cleared up. A new video driver may help you as well.

Thread: Small tip for those of us with Antec 900 gamer cases :) | Forum: Vue
I don't know if this helps, but I keep an air cleaner appliance running 24/7. Then I dust once a month with a Swiffer cloth. My computer's internal parts have collected minimal dust in a one year period.

Thread: Why for does Vue do this to volumetrics? :) | Forum: Vue
I don't why Vue does that with volume materials, but I've seen it many times.Â
I believe the final volumetric material scale is dependent on the scale of the volumetric container. How so? I don't know. Maybe somebody knows about this relationship between volume material and volume material container.

Thread: Grainy motion blur in 6i | Forum: Vue
I think most would do this kind of blur in postwork. My experience with motion blur is that to get rid of the grain, I had to bump the user-setting's object anti-alias amounts to over 255+.

Thread: Where does the light come from when inside a box? | Forum: Vue
This has something to do with the normals of the cube. The normals are facing outward. The best work-around is to create a hollow box with a boolean subtraction.
