Good to know. I was able to report a spam thread in one of the forums today without getting any errors. Not sure if it's working now for the galleries as I haven't found any spam there yet. Which is a good thing 'cuz who wants spam? -- but gotta have that report button working right!

You're not the only one, had it happen to me just last week when I found spam pretending it was new art in the gallery. Did the clear cache/reload page dance but kept getting the same "oops" error. Running Chrome on a Windows 11 desktop with all applicable updates too, does anybody know what's up with that?
Thread: Gallery Block Button | Forum: Community Center
So far my block list is very tiny and I don't anticipate it getting a lot bigger unless the sort of stuff I'm not interested in seeing becomes more widespread, but I am glad to have the option. Kudos to the developers!
Thread: Gallery Block Button | Forum: Community Center
Not having it in a separate gallery any longer is, I think, a big part of the problem. Because now it's scattered everywhere, making it harder to avoid for those that don't want it whereas before all they had to do was just not visit that section. Most of us who work with AI play by the rules and never post unaltered renders or any unlabeled stuff -- I know I'm always particular about accurate and detailed production notes -- but some folks who by now ought to know better don't bother. So for now blocking the artists is all you can do if you see anything, AI or otherwise, you don't like. The downside, of course, is that doing so blocks EVERYTHING by that particular artist, not just styles or subjects you don't have any interest in. Not a perfect solution, but better than having no block at all.
Thread: Attention Previous Hivewire3D Members! | Forum: Community Center
::sigh:: Way too long and have not heard a thing back after sending my info, etc. Has anybody else not gotten their Hivewire purchases transferred to their Rendo accounts or is it just mine that seem to be MIA? Do i need to send request/details again, and if so, to whom? Getting to the point where I'm about ready to mark it a lost cause and just back up all my back up copies again and pray they don't fail. :-(
Thread: More and More Vendors Leaving Rendo | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Let me see if I get this right: you are on an anti-Daz tear because their new digital dollies come with more options than the standard Mike/Vicky. And this is a problem because ... ?
Thread: More and More Vendors Leaving Rendo | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Yeah, I thought this thread was about the vendors that are leaving R'osity. Not about whatever OP is trying to put through them about not supporting Daz. And ... "Time to start using Render State from here on out" ... isn't that one of those places that can get you TOSed on your can around here for advocating? Leastwise, when I looked it up it sure seemed that way.

"Satanic Cult pandering?" Is that a new Daz Product? For which figure? Must say, if so then it's awfully early for Halloween. ;-)
Now I need to figure out which things I already bought here from those PAs to avoid accidental duplicate purchases.

Ah, got it all straight now. Will see if my crazy, cranky Muses will cooperate and throw some good ideas my way before the deadline. Do we need to watch the word count? Any minimum or maximum required?
Thread: Writers Contest | Forum: Contest Announcements
Thanks for the info. Not sure why an image is even needed if it's not counted but if I enter I'll probably just make a simple title .jpeg in Paintshop Pro with whatever basic clipart that comes with.

Sounds interesting. Going over the rules now, I understand an image must be submitted and our story is written as the image description, yes? And of course it must be TOS compliant and unsigned for the judging. I assume it is fairly obvious that the words must be entirely the author's own and not ChatGPT's or whatever but as I do mixed medium art which sometimes includes AI assisted/postworked images, I am uncertain if that part is allowed in this contest or not. Also about the no violence rule: would that mean space battle scenes and/or the mention of such, or the hero getting the drop on the bad guy -- things of that nature -- are out of bounds? Or would such be okay as long as it's not explicitly described or illustrated violence? And is droid whacking and/or evil demon alien supernatural monster bashing allowed as long as it stays within the TOS? Got plenty of ideas and a few things in mind already, I just wanna make sure where the lines are before I commit to anything. Thanks!
Thread: Request for A Poll | Forum: Suggestion Box
Thanks. There's a total allowed of 8 images per day, yes? Are people complaining too many or too few? Personally I think that's a pretty good amount, then again I've always been of the opinion that no matter how many otherwise quite good renders I might make only the best gets a gallery spot. In other words, bring your A game. But that's just me, as they say ymmv. ;-)
Off now to work on some non-Rendo related stuff. Happy Caturday -- er, I mean Saturday, to you too. ;-)

What gallery policies are we talking about? Have there been any changes since the "No purely AI images allowed and anything that has AI components as part of the workflow must have production notes when posting to be acceptable" rule went into effect? I do know there was a big problem with flooding that was attributed mainly to AI users but shouldn't that have gotten better now since those of us who use it along with other tools like Daz/Poser, cameras, paints, pencils, etc. are all doing our very best to keep within the new regs? Must admit, it's been awhile since I've posted anything -- my busiest time was leading up to Christmas -- but still it was just one render a day and not necessarily every day. So I may not be up to date with current issues and would very much like to be enlightened as to what's going on and what the new concerns are. Because when I do finally have something I consider good enough to want to post it to the gallery, I'd really rather not also accidentally commit an act of rule-breaking stupid.
Thanks. :-)
Thread: Question About Thumbnails and the TOS | Forum: Community Center
Again, thanks, that is a relief. Now I won't have to try to squoosh things down to those old timey limits like I've been doing for nearly as long as I've been here, which was around 2004/05, iirc. Just keep to the allowed pixel sizes and all's good, eh? Guess we can consider the issue sorted. :-)
