Mr. Sparky, thanks for all the generous gifts you have shared with us over the years! They are appreciated.

I enjoyed the poem (lyrics). Thank you for the good wishes, and may they be returned to you a thousand fold!

Toulouse-Lautrec created much of his work after getting cranked on absinthe. But he had great talent and the excuse of constant phsical pain. This self absorbed schmuck appears to have neither.

Time and money.
Some of the programs you describe as being "high end" require such tremendous investments of labor and cash that most users simply cannot afford to use them.

Quote - If DAZ makes a game-changing decision and no one is there...does it make a sound?
Well said.
I do hope free cheese is involved. Have you checked the price of Munster lately? It would be cheaper to eat dollar bills.

All 3D rendering and modeling programs worth their salt can seem overwhelmingly complex at first. What sets Poser apart im my opinion is its brilliantly designed user interface. It's clean, friendly and makes life much easier for every user, no matter what their experience level.
Good luck and welcome aboard. You'll find lots of friendly, knowledgeable people here who will be happy to help with your problems, should you have any. All you have to do is ask.

Jurisdictional limitations render the bill toothless, whether it ever passes or not.
I totally agree with Winterclaw. Whenever the government tries to implement controls over the internet, or any other communications medium, the cure is always worse than the problem.

I don't know for certain what is going on with Daz's product prices, but it seems reasonable to conclude that the company may be having some cash flow problems in this horrible depress...I mean, temporary economic slump.
I hope that isn't the case. Whether you like them or not, Daz provides a marketplace for some talented artists. Of course, they should offer their wares at Rendo too, but the more choices available, the better for everyone.
Thread: OT: This world is a girls best friend | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Absolutely. What I find so disgusting is that a lot the gems being sold at a hundred times their true value is that they are "blood diamonds", produced by the victims brutal slave labor.
It's also bitterly ironic that human technology can now produce diamonds that are indistinguishable form the natural product.

Diamonds, or at least low quality ones, are actually pretty common. What happens is the big diamond companies keep a ton in reserve and limit the supply on purpose to keep the prices up. From what I've heard, there's enough of them in existance that everyone in the US could have a handful or so of them.
Thread: This here weight mapping malarkey makes me think... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Eeep.....shame on me.
Quote - A lot of users of Poser, I mean A LOT, want to load and render without any other effort on their own part. Whenever any one suggests that users should learn how to do some things for themselves, the whining starts. I think that there will always be vendor dependent Poser users.
