Thread: Poser Pro 2010 Project Guide won't start up | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm on an iMac, 10.6.3 .
Tried to see if I could replicate your problem however it does work as it should on my set-up.
In the meantime, until someone comes along who can be more helpful:
if you look in
Applications>PoserPro2010>runtime>Python>PoserScripts>Projects
the hmtl files for what you should be seeing in that window are there. (And if they aren't there that will be one reason why they won't open.)
If you click on them they'll open in your browser and at least you can read the info in them that way.
3 things I'd try myself:
-A full re-install of Poser just to see if that does the trick with a full system restart after.
-consider updating Python on your machine.
Info here: http://python.org/download/
Apparently Leopard has 2.5 installed but perhaps updating to 2.6.5 will do the trick.
(I just checked and I have 2.6.4 on my machine)
Maybe ask about this in the Mac forum here for more info on updating it.
-Definitely submit a bug ticket with SmithMicro to report this problem if it persists.

Thread: Totally OT - Twitter | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Here's where I step in with an obligatory "Let's not go into political territory" post
Please, and thanks :)
My intentions were simply to identify the originator of the quote who just happens to be a politician and that realm is not a usual source of quotes for me hence my comment in brackets.
Knuckle rapping accepted and please accept my apologies for using bad words... though I did use a language flag ; ))

Lol, my thoughts exactly.
It's hard enough to find somewhere where you can't hear distant cars or airplanes never mind willfully exposing oneself to the mental diarrhoea of ones friends and friends of friends.

Thread: Wacom Intuos 2 Problem with Poser 8 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Definately having the same problems with Intuos 3 and moving camers with the track ball !
I have installed sr2 and latest tablet drivers but hasn't made much difference really.
I've tried checking and unchecking Tablet Mode in Poser preferences and it doesn't seem to make a difference nor does adjusting my Wacom settings.
So basically I am now using the parameter dials when I want to move cameras rather than the pen or mouse and also saving camera dots often in case it all goes too crazy on me.

Thread: So i'm finally a Mac user... what next? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I also found P8 does run very well on my older Powerbook under 10.5.6. , 1.68Ghz and 2gig ram.
Poser7Pro also ran well .
P6 was a total 'pita' on it ... I gave up for the better part of a year it was so bad.
But hey , what is a disaster for some seems to work for others so there is no telling.
P8 is very nice though .
